Barefoot in the Park
The Mill at Sonning
Pre-theatre dinner from 6.30pm, performance start time: 8.15pm

For those who have not yet enjoyed the Sonning experience, The Mill is an historic 18th century flour mill, converted into a renowned Dinner Theatre. Guests enjoy a fresh home-cooked meal before watching the performance in the intimate air-conditioned auditorium. Pre-dinner drinks with a view of river or watching the working Waterwheel in the bar is an added treat.

To mark the Mill's 40th anniversary as a theatre, Managing and Artistic Director Sally Hughes has chosen this charming romantic comedy to return to her artistic roots as director. A brilliant, funny, romantic play, Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon is a delightful choice.
Newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter are excited to begin their life together in their new apartment in Manhattan. It may be small and a six-flight climb, the heating may be busted and snow falling through the skylight, but nothing can quash their newlywedded bliss...
Paul is a straight-laced lawyer and Corie a romantic free-spirit; and while opposites may attract, the young couple must still learn how to accept and embrace their differences as they learn that marriage
is no easy walk in the park - shoes or no shoes!

We'll set off in plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed evening in lovely surroundings.
