Featuring dazzling dance routines and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, this story of music, mishaps and nuns on the run is a joyous and uplifting tale of finding your voice and singing out, with your sisters by your side.

Kiss Me, Kate - Barbican Theatre

Join us for this thrilling summer revival of ‘Kiss Me, Kate’, starring the multi-award-winning Adrian Dunbar; Broadway musical superstar and Tony Award Winner Stephanie J. Block; and Olivier-award nominee, Charlie Stemp.

Egotistical leading man, director, and producer Fred Graham is reunited with his ex-wife, Lilli Vanessi, when the two are forced to play opposite one another in a new production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. The battle of the sexes continues onstage and off, as it becomes clear that, as much as this couple profess to hate each other, they are also still in love...

With Cole Porter’s razor-sharp wit and a company of over 50 including a full-scale orchestra, this is a show sure to dazzle!

Hello, Dolly! - London Palladium

After a Covid-cancelled season in 2020, Imelda Staunton is finally back where she belongs in HELLO, DOLLY! for a strictly limited 10 week run at the London Palladium.

Meddlesome socialite turned matchmaker Dolly Levi travels to Yonkers, New York to find a match for the miserly, unmarried ‘half-a-millionaire’ Horace Vandergelder. But everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is for herself…

HELLO, DOLLY! is one of the most iconic musicals of all time. The timeless score includes ‘Put on Your Sunday Clothes’, ‘Ribbons Down My Back’, ‘Before the Parade Passes By’, ‘Elegance’, ‘It Only Takes a Moment’ and of course, ‘Hello, Dolly!’

Day trip, going into evening

Date: Surrey North Tues 2 July / Surrey South Weds 3 July 2024

Start time: departing area 10.45/11.00am, returning c9.30pm

A full day for you - a delightful day-time visit, followed by convivial early dinner, followed by evening classical concert. And not too late home!

Chartwell: our day begins with a visit to Chartwell, home to Sir Winston Churchill and filled with his personal legacy, including belongings, mementoes, paintings, and gardens.

 

Afterwards back to home territory for a two-course pre-concert dinner with tea/coffee to follow, at the Old Plough in Stoke d'Abernon, an historic country style pub, locally renowned for its great food.

And finally up the road to the marvellous Yehudi Menuhin School, where we will enjoy a concert showcasing the extraordinary talents of its immensely gifted senior pupils.

Oliver! - Chichester Festival Theatre

Date: Surrey South Mon 5 August / Surrey North Tues 6 August 2024

Start time: 7.30pm

This spectacular new production of Lionel Bart’s iconic musical has been fully reconceived especially for Chichester Festival Theatre by director Cameron Mackintosh and choreographer Matthew Bourne and promises to be one of the most unforgettable shows ever at the Festival Theatre.

The well-loved tale of the orphaned Oliver, the boy who asked for more - with such unforgettable characters as Fagin, the Artful Dodger and the kind-hearted Nancy. 

With a sensational score, including ‘Food Glorious Food’, ‘You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two’, ‘Oom Pah Pah’, ‘As Long As He Needs Me’ and many more.

With the option of a pre-theatre dinner, as an extra treat!
