Jesus Christ Superstar
London Palladium
Start time: 7.30pm

Starring the incomparable Sam Ryder
In what promises to be one of the most powerful and unmissable events of 2026, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ returns to the London stage, starring Sam Ryder as Jesus.

The sung-through musical follows the events of the last days of the life
of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots
that defined a generation, the legendary score includes hits such as ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and the iconic title number ‘Superstar’.

First released as a concept album in 1970, the show opened on Broadway the following year, earning five Tony nominations and redefining musical theatre with its rock-driven score.

Sam Ryder is a BRIT and Emmy nominated, critically acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician. He achieved dizzying success at Eurovision where his hit single ‘Space Man’ skyrocketed him to the forefront of the airwaves.

Following the huge success of 'Evita', 'Sunset Boulevard', and 'Starlight Express', this revival continues Lloyd Webber's streak of hit London productions.
