The woman who captured a nation’s heart and divided its soul

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning Evita returns to the London Palladium for a strictly limited season, as reimagined by the visionary, award-winning director Jamie Lloyd.

Evita is the story of an ordinary woman’s meteoric rise to power at a time of extraordinary political unrest. It follows the journey of Eva Perón, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, from her humble beginnings through to extraordinary wealth, power and iconic status, which ultimately lead her to be heralded as the 'spiritual leader of the nation' by the Argentine people.

Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler will play the iconic role of Eva Perón, opposite James Olivas as Juan Perón and Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che. This spectacular production promises to be a real theatrical treat.

Evita features some of the best loved songs in musical theatre, including Don’t Cry for Me Argentina, On This Night of a Thousand Stars, You Must Love Me, and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.
